Tonights St Mary’s Drop In Police Surgery issues raised Wednesday 5th August 2026 Venue: Mahdlo Youth Zone, Egerton Street, Oldham – This was a very worthwhile surgery with a few topics raised that will be looked into has priority by our Neighbourhood Team Issues raised Beckett Meadows/Gordon Street – Illegal bikes riding dangerously on field at the back of Becket Meadows where children play – We are already increasing patrols and once suspects and addresses are identified then we will carry out enforcement with partner agencies. Gordon Avenue – Fly-tipping in the area – Environmental Services to be made aware.Lemnos Street – HGVs and trailers parking on the street causing hazards - Local Councillor will contact Highways and investigate the possibility of double yellow lines on the street.Gower Street - Drug dealing at the top of Gower Street – more intelligence required i.e. Vehicle descriptions and suspect details.
